What you contribute
No contribution for approved clinical and personal care services while you have Support at Home funds available. These services are still paid from your budget. For other Independence and Everyday Living services, what you contribute depends on your situation — book a time to talk to us.

There is a lifetime cap on participant contributions of $140,652.80 (current as of 20 September 2026). If you were receiving or approved for a Home Care Package on or before 12 September 2024, a lower no-worse-off lifetime cap of $88,934.57 applies. It is a combined cap with the non-clinical care contribution for residential aged care, and is indexed on 20 March and 20 September each year. Once you reach the cap, further contributions stop.
